5 Interesting fact about Ric Flair


Ric Flair's full name is Richard Morgan Fliehr. He was born in Memphis and studied in mendical science before he became a professional wrestler in the 1970s. Ric was working for both World Championship Wrestling and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

1. Nature Boy

Flair was not the original "Nature Boy". Ric adopted this name from buddy Rogersm, who used this name earlier. He became a "Nature Boy" beacuse of a deadly plane crash, that changeed his life. In 4th October 1976, He experienced a deadly plane crash which killed the pilot and paralyzed fellow wrestler, Johnny Valentine. Flair was enough lucky that he only broke his back in three places. Doctors told him to not play wrestle again. 

Pursuing the completion of physical remedy training, Flair did come back to the ring eight months later. Yet, he had bulked down significantly and got to significantly tone down his usual in-ring style. He went from play fighting in a brawler style to the showman we are going to familiar with today. To justify his drastic play fighting style change, he improved his character as well and became The Nature Boy Boy.

2. Married 5 Times

Ric has as many marriage as world championships dominates. Having been first committed to Leslie Goodman in 1974 together two children with her (Megan and David) before divorcing her 9 years later in 1983. He got divored from 2nd wife in 2006 after 23 years together for the same season he got divorced from 1st one. His 2nd wife Elizabeth Harrell with whom he had another twins (Ashley, better known as Charlotte, in WWE and the now past due Reid).  Ric Flairmarried again in the same year with Tiffany VanDemark. They recorded for divorce a few years later in 2008. In 2009, he hitched his fourth wife, Jacqueline "Jackie" Beems, and the two divorced in 2012. Since July 2016, he is been engaged to Wendy Barlow at the age of 67.

3. Ric Flair forced Charlotte to be wrestler

Ric forced his daughter Charlotte into wrestling ring. Charlotte didn’t want to be a wrestler. She has stared to play volleyball in high school, and earned a full scholarship from Appalachian State University. Charlotte is two times NCHSAA 4 A-State champion for volleyball during her time at Providence High School. She was also elected team captain and player of the year from 2004–2005.  Charlotte first appeared in professional wrestling at the age of 13 with her father in World Championship Wrestling (WCW).  She is the current Raw Women’s Champion, performing in RAW. Charlotte has won four times WWE Woman championship medal.




4.Biggest wrestling crowd of all time


Ric headlined Crash in Korea, a show held in North Korea in front of a genuinely ridiculous live audience of 190, 000, beating WWE's Wrestlemania III record by around 100, 000.

In April of 1995, Allen Turner-owned World Championship Play fighting teamed up with Fresh Japan Pro Wrestling to put on the major pay-per-view in pro Wrestling history. This event was held in Rungnado May Day Stadium in Pyongyang, North Korea. 

World Championship Wrestling a show held in North Korea in front of a truly ridiculous live audience of 190, 000, conquering WWE's Wrestlemania III record by around 100, 1000. Ric Flair Was again made as news headline for this record.

5. Woo !!
This legendary wrestler is also famous for another reason. And this is for his iconic expression "Woo" .Ric Flair Revealed about his famous expression "WOO" . he Stared using this iconic expression in 1974. Ric is inspired by the lyric, “Goodness gracious, great balls of fire, woo!” that time.
